How A Back Stretcher Works
As we age, gravity begins to pull the spine down, compressing the vertebrae and often causing pain and discomfort. The first step to making a back stretcher work for you is to try and completely relax the back muscles. Once that happens, the back stretcher starts to stretch the spine vertically, creating some space in between the vertebrae and counteracting the natural effects of gravity.

It’s also great to use with any number of physical stretches, including yoga postures, to help with relief and flexibility. How To Use The Optimum Back Stretcher
To start using your new back scratcher, position the wide end of the unit against your lower spine. Center your spine in the slot designed to cradle the spine, for extra comfort and ease of use. Next, raise your arms over your head and shoulders, resting them as close to the floor as you can in order to gain an additional stretch. Before standing, sit up gradually and rest for 30 seconds to avoid getting light-headed.
Assembly is easy but should be followed step by step for proper use. Start with pre-bending the arch board for the level you want to use. Then gently press the arch board down and slide the narrow end into the baseboard to create the correct position for your stretch. Then secure the wide end of the baseboard against your knees and slide the wide end of the arch board into the single slot.
Choose from three levels, depending on the position you want and the intensity of the stretch.
