ABOUT THIS ITEM
A Quality Product Designed for Life On-the-Go
It’s not that we can’t live without our phones — it’s that these versatile little devices have become so essential to our daily lives that being out of touch can make life complicated. It’s also important that we don’t allow our phones to put our safety—and the safety of others—at risk.
This can be the case when using the phone while driving.
Phone mounts for your vehicle were designed to keep you hands-free so you focus on driving without being distracted by holding or looking at your phone. While it’s a novel idea, even a simple phone mount for your vehicle has taken time to perfect. After years of user feedback, countless product iterations from other companies and lots of patience, Showcase is proud to introduce the Cupholder Adjustable Phone Mount — perfect for your car, RV, golf cart, boat and more.
The Problem with Other Phone Mounts…
We didn’t design this product to add to a surplus of existing phone holders already on the market. We designed it to replace them. We’re so proud of our Cupholder Adjustable Phone Mount that we guarantee you’ll be throwing your old phone holder to the backseat the moment you try it.
So what makes this phone mount so special?
First, let’s talk about what makes the other ones not so special.
After all, the Showcase Cupholder Phone Mount was specially-designed to capitalize on the flaws of other phone mounts. Looking back on phone mounts of the past, we see a lot of common flaws that effectively put our phone mount into a league of its own.
Adhesive Phone Mounts
Some phone holders require you to stick them to the surface of your dashboard, windshield, etc. with an adhesive that could either block your view, leading to unsafe driving, or be completely unreliable or both.
Adhesive phone mounts may sound like a good idea in practice, but when you think about the temperature ranges of our car interiors, you start to wonder if it’s such a great idea after all. Cars get hot and cold, both of which affect the quality of adhesive and could leave you picking up your expensive phone—and its mount—off the floor.
Another problem with these types of phone mounts is that they often lack flexibility. Phone mounts with adhesives tend to be compact in order to curb the effects of gravity. As a result, don’t expect a lot of flexibility, rotation and customization options with these types of phone mounts — even if they hold.
Air Vent Phone Mounts
Unless you consider your phone expendable and don’t much care if it keeps working or not, you’ll probably want to keep it away from your car’s ventilation panel. Cell phones these days are more expensive than ever, and while they are being gradually designed for greater durability and longer life, they’re still electronics — something that comes with vulnerabilities you simply can’t avoid.
Phones are designed for certain temperature ranges, and constant exposure to hot or cold temperatures can cause damage to your phone. When you place your phone in front of a vent, the force of the air being blown finds its way into your phone’s circuitry and components. Cold air can affect your phone’s battery life and cause it to die much faster than it would by use alone, while also freezing the crystals on your LCD screen. Hot air prevents your phone from discharging its own heat, which can burn out your components and cause damage to your phone.
Introducing the Showcase Cupholder Adjustable Phone Mount
We wanted to go over the problems you’re likely to face with other phone mounts to give you an idea of what makes the Showcase Cupholder Adjustable Phone Mount so special — but it’s also got a few unique features of its own.
